## Description

MedCare Milestones Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving children with disabilities, described by the foundation as children with “different abilities,” and their families in Houston and surrounding areas. Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience caring for children with special needs, the organization aims to support their health and welfare and create opportunities beyond school, therapy, and work. Its programs include school supplies, respite care, and community events for families of children with special healthcare needs. The foundation also hosts all-inclusive activities that give children a welcoming space to be themselves while helping raise awareness in the community. Its stated philosophy extends to promoting the health and welfare of differently abled children and families in need locally, nationally, and globally. MedCare Milestones shares information about upcoming events and invites community members to support its work through donations. Past events listed on its website include a Fall Festival Fundraiser and Trees for Tots.
