## Description

Groupement Pro Médiation (GPM) is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting and developing mediation across French-speaking Switzerland. Founded in 1996, it works toward a society in which people can address relationship conflicts constructively, responsibly, and with greater autonomy. Mediation brings people together with the help of a neutral third party, supporting cooperative dialogue and helping to prevent or resolve conflicts in social and professional settings.

GPM offers a range of learning opportunities, including introductory sessions, in-depth training, specializations, continuing education, and intervision and supervision. Its programs include pathways aligned with Swiss Mediation Federation recognition requirements. The association also connects people with information about FSM-recognized mediators and different fields of practice, such as family, workplace, school, health, commercial, and neighborhood mediation.

Alongside its training, GPM supports a community of members and shares news, events, publications, and useful resources through its communications, including the Infos-GPM newsletter. Led by a committee representing several French-speaking cantons and supported largely by volunteers, the association also welcomes donations to help fund its initiatives and advance mediation.
