## Description

Medithermo provides veterinary health and performance services focused on horses, using medical thermography alongside complementary therapies. Founded in 2010, the practice draws on its founder’s background in medical technical assistance and 15 years of clinical research, as well as further training in infrared measurement for human and veterinary medicine. Since 2012, the founder has also taught thermography for several specialist companies.

Thermography is a contact-free, radiation-free method used to identify temperature changes that may indicate physical strain or imbalance, sometimes before symptoms become visible. Medithermo offers it for prevention, diagnostic support, therapy monitoring, and training optimisation. Additional services include low-level laser therapy to support the body’s natural healing processes, leech therapy, kinesiology taping, and acupuncture, including treatment of muscular trigger points. Applications are tailored to each horse’s needs.

Medithermo also offers seminars on infrared measurement and saddle thermography, as well as information sessions. The founder’s book introduces the principles and methods of infrared thermography in equestrian sport, illustrated with case examples.
