## Description

MedTagID provides secure digital medical identification designed to make critical health information available during emergencies. Its service helps people prepare for situations in which they may be unable to speak for themselves, giving first responders quick access to relevant details through a QR code scan. Users create an account, build a medical profile, and receive a unique code that can be carried on a tag, card, or sticker, or kept in a wallet or vehicle. Profiles can include allergies, medications, medical conditions, and emergency contacts.

The MedTagID mobile app lets users manage their profile, download their QR code, review scan history, and choose which information to share. Security and privacy features include token-protected links, selective data sharing, and full or partial PDF exports. Users can receive SMS alerts when their code is scanned and view scan timestamps and location data. The platform also offers a pregnancy alert banner for responders, personalized NFC-enabled wallet cards and decals, and vehicle registration linked to an account.
