## Description

Dr. Megan Shen is a social psychologist, professor, author, and keynote speaker whose work helps people and organizations navigate burnout, grief, loss, and chronic uncertainty. Drawing on research and her experience working with seriously ill patients and their families, she translates social science into practical, science-backed strategies for cultivating resilience, hope, creativity, and joy, even in difficult circumstances.

Through keynotes, leadership retreats, workshops, consulting, writing, and media appearances, Dr. Shen equips leaders and teams to handle change with greater clarity, strengthen performance and connection, and build resilient workplace cultures. Her guidance also supports individuals seeking ways to make space for grief and cope with unexpected loss. Her research-informed perspectives have appeared in outlets and venues including TEDx, Forbes, USA Today, Psychology Today, Entrepreneur, NPR, CBS News Los Angeles, and GeekWire.

Megan’s website features articles, videos, interviews, press coverage, and information about past and upcoming events. She also publishes Light in the Wound, a Substack newsletter exploring resilience, joy, love, and peace amid life’s challenges.
