## Description

Middle East Global Events (MGE) is an Omani sports-event organizer focused on endurance sports and sports tourism. Its roots date to 2013, when its predecessor, Muscat Triathlon Club, began introducing triathlon to Oman. The organization later expanded as Triathlon Middle East before becoming MGE in 2024, bringing international and local events under one umbrella. Founded by Omani triathlete Mohamed Al Obaidani, MGE describes itself as a 100% Omani company with ambitions to build Oman’s presence in endurance sport.

MGE organizes and promotes events including triathlons, duathlons, swims, marathons and fun runs. Its featured events include IRONMAN 70.3 Oman in Muscat and the Dhofar Marathon in Salalah. The Dhofar Marathon is presented as a scenic, low-elevation course intended for competitive running, with individual and relay participation. The website provides event details, registration information, results, news and galleries, and invites participants to volunteer and join its community. MGE also shares training and wellness updates, including coverage of recovery sessions, helping connect athletic events with healthier, active lifestyles.
