## Description

Mein Schnurengurt is a small, craft-focused brand creating handmade string girths designed to offer comfort for sensitive horses. Its girths are made from natural fibres, including cotton, mohair and alpaca wool, and can be customised with a choice of materials, colours, shapes and designs. Special requests are also welcome, and occasional one-off pieces are offered through the shop.

The flexible, lightweight construction is designed to adapt to a horse’s body, reduce pressure around the elbow area and allow freer movement. The open structure and breathable fibres help keep the girths airy, while their slight elasticity supports comfortable breathing. The brand uses high-quality stainless-steel or brass buckles and vegetable-tanned leather, and avoids synthetic fibres wherever possible. Cotton girths are vegan; the Roper model is an exception to the general approach to synthetics, as it contains a polypropylene strap.

Products include English, Western and V-shaped girths, as well as buckle guards and cycling accessories. One featured accessory is a bicycle-mounted wine bottle holder, also suitable for other drinks.
