## Description

Mellow Chocolate is a brand founded in 2019 by Jacob Kaya, a passionate chemist turned chocolatier. With a deep love for the scientific processes involved in transforming cocoa beans into chocolate bars, Jacob started his experiments in his kitchen with 1 kg of cocoa beans and a modified coffee roaster. From his humble beginnings on a Copenhagen loft to the present, Mellow Chocolate continues to strive for the best bean-to-bar chocolate production. At Mellow Chocolate, they invest significant resources in sourcing cocoa beans from local farmers who practice ethical and sustainable farming, ensuring their chocolate is free from slave and child labor. The brand supports cocoa agroforestry to combat deforestation and focuses on creating honest chocolate that reflects the natural flavors and aromas of the cocoa beans. Using a combination of natural and unrefined ingredients, their chocolate production process aims to preserve the antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals found in the beans. From cocoa cultivation and fermentation to roasting and conching, each step is meticulously carried out to create the finest chocolate. Mellow Chocolate aspires to #raisethebar by producing chocolate of the purest and highest quality, using only carefully cultivated cocoa beans and natural unrefined sugar. They are committed to sustainable practices, working with ethical cocoa farmers, using organic ingredients, and packaging their products with plastic-free materials. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Mellow Chocolate takes pride in collaborating with local creative minds to create beautifully designed products. Their chocolate is made in small batches, ensuring attention to detail and no compromise on quality. With an unwavering dedication to human rights, cocoa forest preservation, and biodiversity, Mellow Chocolate is redefining the art and science of chocolate-making. Discover the exquisite flavors and ethical craftsmanship of Mellow Chocolate, and indulge in a guilt-free, flavorful experience.
