## Description

Melty is a free Windows app from Stella Montis Inc. that helps players discover, install, play, and create mashups and mods using games they already own. A mashup combines games into a new experience; for example, SkyCraft lets players play Skyrim as a Minecraft character. Melty simplifies setup: press Play, and it downloads the mashup, installs the required files, and launches the game. When uninstalled, files are restored to their original state.

For supported multiplayer mashups, Melty creates an invite link that players can share privately with friends or use to open a public lobby. Players can browse verified mashups and mods, with uploads checked for dangerous files and a reporting option available on each mashup page. To create a mashup, users can provide Melty’s instructions to a coding agent such as Claude Code or Codex, describe what they want, and have the agent build and publish it. Melty and its mashups are free, and users need to own the games a mashup requires.
