## Description

Melvin’s BARF is a pet food brand focused on fresh, natural raw diets for dogs and cats. Its food follows the BARF approach, or Biologically Appropriate Raw Food, which aims to reflect the ingredients animals would eat in a natural diet. Melvin’s describes its recipes as balanced and made with muscle meat, organs, meaty bones, seeds, fruits, vegetables, and egg, using quality raw materials and avoiding excessive processing and high temperatures.

The range includes beef and chicken recipes, sold in 1-kilogram packs containing ten 100-gram portions. The brand highlights protein content, moisture, and ingredients selected to support pets’ nutritional needs, and outlines potential benefits such as a shinier coat, cleaner teeth, and improved digestion. These are presented as benefits of the BARF diet rather than guaranteed outcomes.

Melvin’s also provides an online daily-portion calculator to help owners estimate how much to feed their pet, offers guidance about its food, and lists Petco as a place to buy its products.
