## Description

MEM is an art gallery and cultural platform presenting contemporary artists through exhibitions, art fairs, publications, podcasts, and public programs. Its website features artist news and exhibition information, alongside details about events and ways to engage with the gallery’s work. MEM’s program includes photography and other contemporary art; recent listings highlight works by Hiroko Komatsu, including gelatin silver prints and 8mm film.

The gallery organizes solo and group exhibitions, participates in fairs such as ART OSAKA and Art Fair Tokyo, and shares artist conversations through its podcast. It also hosts events such as readings with film screenings. One featured program invited Komatsu to read excerpts from her writing alongside screenings of her 8mm films, with advance reservations and paid admission. MEM provides information about its artists, access, and current activities in Japanese and English. Its offerings connect exhibitions with the artists’ words, moving images, and broader creative practices, giving visitors multiple ways to encounter contemporary art.
