## Description

Memoria Abierta is a prominent network of Argentine human rights organizations dedicated to preserving and promoting the memory of human rights violations committed during the country's recent past. This initiative focuses on its role in fostering reflection on these historical injustices to strengthen democracy and ensure accountability for past atrocities.

The brand offers a variety of resources, including access to extensive archival collections that encompass audiovisual, oral, photographic, and documentary materials. Notably, it features the complete audiovisual record of the historical Trial of the Juntas held in 1985. Memoria Abierta also engages in educational activities, such as workshops and exhibitions, centered on memory, testimony, and the socio-political implications of state terrorism.

With an accessible online catalog of over 28,000 records, Memoria Abierta invites individuals, researchers, and educators to explore these archives both in-person and remotely. Its mission is to document and share the memories of resistance, fostering a collective understanding that honors the struggles for truth and justice in Argentina and beyond.
