Memphis Habitat is a nonprofit organization that is part of Habitat for Humanity International. They are dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions to individuals and families in need. Memphis Habitat partners with the community to build new homes, improve existing homes, and provide critical repairs and modifications for older homeowners.

Since its establishment in 1983, Memphis Habitat has helped over 500 first-time homebuyers secure affordable mortgages and completed rehabilitation and home modification projects for nearly 1000 local homeowners. Their mission is to empower families by providing them with safe, decent, and affordable housing options. Volunteers play a crucial role in the house-building process, while donors provide the necessary funds, materials, and labor.

Memphis Habitat works in partnership with families, who invest hundreds of hours of their own labor into building their homes and the homes of others.
