# Look Inside

- **Website:** <https://mend-o.com>
- **Primary alias:** `mend-o.com`

## Description

Its approach combines an engaging story, player choices and challenging puzzles, inviting people to consider what someone experiencing psychological difficulties might be thinking and feeling. Rather than relying on lectures or personal disclosures, the game uses fictional characters to create a gentle starting point for conversations and shared reflection.

Look Inside is intended for people who want to better understand mental health, whether for their own development or to support someone close to them. The experience has been developed with input from psychology professionals, and its concept was examined in a pilot study at Heidelberg University. More than 200 people, including people with lived experience, friends and family, psychology professionals and board-game specialists, have tested it and contributed perspectives to its development.

The website also offers a free online demo, information about the game and opportunities to join a waiting list.
