## Description

Men Stopping Violence (MSV) was an initiative dedicated to ending male violence against women and girls. After more than four decades of work, MSV closed in mid-2024. Its website preserves information about the organization’s mission and points visitors toward relevant alternatives, while also presenting content on domestic violence and public-record searches.

The site discusses the prevalence and impact of domestic violence, shares statistics about women’s experiences of abuse, and emphasizes the importance of accessible information in recognizing harmful patterns and supporting early intervention. It also offers a people-search and background-check service described as providing access to public records across the United States. Search results may include criminal and court records, arrests, judgments, liens, contact details, addresses, social profiles, relatives, and business information. The site outlines possible uses such as learning about a new neighbor or online acquaintance and researching public records. It states that searches are confidential and includes frequently asked questions about the types of information available and record searches.
