## Description

The Mediapolis Education Foundation (MEF) is an independent organization that supports the Mediapolis Community School District in expanding educational and learning opportunities. Its work is intended to enrich and strengthen education across the district and promote academic excellence. Since 1986, the Foundation has used funds raised from the community to support projects of varied sizes, giving teachers resources to offer additional educational experiences to students of all ages. The Foundation also provides information about scholarships available through MEF and the Mediapolis School District, and offers a form for students who have recently received a scholarship. Community support is central to its efforts: contributions from individuals, businesses, and memorial and honorary funds help create opportunities for students. The Foundation invites donors to learn more about supporting its work and to make donations. Based in Mediapolis, Iowa, MEF can be contacted by mail at PO Box 45 or by email at mepoedfoundation@mepoedu.org.
