## Description

The Mercian Mountaineering Club (MMC) is an enthusiastic community based in Birmingham, dedicated to climbing, hillwalking, and mountaineering. Offering regular outdoor meets across the UK and beyond, club members engage in a variety of activities, from scrambling in Snowdonia and the Lake District to rock climbing in North Wales and the Peak District. The MMC also embraces ice climbing opportunities and aims to conquer Wainwrights and Munros.

Weekly gatherings are held on Tuesday evenings at Redpoint Climbing Wall, and on Thursdays at Creation Climbing Wall, followed by socializing at The Old Moseley Arms. The club warmly invites newcomers to join their climbing and social events, encouraging interested individuals to connect through their contact form or social media.

To share their adventures and foster a sense of community, the MMC publishes "The Faff," a periodical journal highlighting recent excursions and experiences in the great outdoors. Embracing the spirit of exploration, the club demonstrates that not all those who wander are lost.
