## Description

MergeCiv is a strategic idle game about growing a civilization through tile merging, resource gathering, and upgrades. Available to play on web and mobile, it invites players to combine matching tiles and use the resources they collect to expand their settlement and progress through the game. Food and wood are among the resources shown, while different tiles and actions support the development of the civilization.

Players can navigate the board with the arrow keys and use Enter or Space for a tile’s primary action. To merge, they select a source tile, move to a matching tile, and confirm; they can also drag one field onto another. Progression includes research and upgrades that introduce new possibilities. Clear Brush increases the grid to four by four, Forest provides access to wood, and Villager adds more hands to the work. Auto-Scout helps reveal the world, with listed costs in food and wood. MergeCiv combines accessible controls with incremental strategy, letting players steadily build and improve their civilization.
