## Description

The Merrick Auto Museum, established in 1992 by automobile enthusiasts Jim and Richard Merrick, is a treasure trove for lovers of automotive history. Initially housing 11 restored antique cars, the museum's collection has expanded to over 100 vehicles alongside an extensive array of automobile memorabilia. As of 2019, the museum boasts the world’s largest collection of automotive literature, showcasing materials from the 1800s to the present day. In 2020, the integration of Walter Miller's literature collection further enriched its library.

The Merrick Auto Museum serves as a valuable resource for restorers and automotive enthusiasts, offering research services that include access to sales literature, owner’s manuals, and more. The library operates by appointment, while group tours can be arranged on weekends. Open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, the museum invites visitors to explore its remarkable collection and to inquire about selling their own literature or memorabilia.
