## Description

Město lidem, lidé městu is a multi-genre festival that brings culture, food and activity into the streets of České Budějovice at the end of summer. Its 12th edition is scheduled for 28–29 August 2026. The festival transforms the city centre with stretches of living grass, colourful umbrellas and lanterns, creating a lively setting for visitors and performers. Its street programme features a broad mix of creative and cultural contributors, including acrobats, singers, musicians, actors, artists, painters, chefs, baristas, hairdressers, florists, designers, architects and athletes. Food and drink are also part of the experience, with selected culinary treats, freshly roasted coffee and flowers adding to the atmosphere. The festival’s mobile guide helps visitors explore the event through an interactive map of stages, zones and festival locations, and a programme listing dates, times, places and categories. Visitors can also use it to build a personal plan, find festival partners and supporters, and access organiser, production and practical contact details.
