## Description

Métabief Snow Trail is a winter trail-running event organized by Espace Mont d’Or / Espace Ô, an organizer also known for the Ultra Trail des Montagnes du Jura. Held at the Métabief Mont d’Or resort in France, the event brings runners to snowy trails across the Mont d’Or and Morond mountains, at elevations of approximately 1,000 to 1,425 metres. Its seventh edition is planned for January 2027, with the date to be announced.

The event offers three routes for different ages and experience levels. Hard’Méta is a demanding 16-kilometre course with 700 metres of elevation gain, while L’Originale covers 10 kilometres with 500 metres of gain and is presented as an accessible introduction to winter trail running. Méta’Kids gives children the chance to take part on age-appropriate routes from 400 metres to two kilometres. Participants can access race information, registration, rules and results through the event’s website. The organizers also coordinate practical event services, including race bib collection, refreshments and course safety.
