# Metaphorse - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `metaphorse.org` ## Description Metaphorse Growth & Healing Center is a horse-centered nonprofit in Montrose, Colorado, dedicated to creating lasting change through the connection between horses and people. Its mission brings retired and rescued horses together with participants for emotional healing, personal development, and therapeutic care. The center offers equine-facilitated learning, hippotherapy, therapeutic horseback riding, horse camps, and other programs focused on growth and connection. Its rescued herd plays a central role: horses that have found a new purpose become teachers and partners in participants’ experiences. Metaphorse serves people including children, veterans, and students with disabilities, and describes outcomes such as reduced anxiety, stronger emotional regulation, improved confidence, and social connection. The organization also shares information about the science of horse-human interactions and hosts events. Community members can support its work by donating, sponsoring a horse, or helping fellow participants. Located at 18907 Spring Canyon Road, the center welcomes visitors by appointment and invites people to contact the team to learn more about its programs and mission. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Mental Health _(under Health)_ - ⛑ Alternative and Natural Medicine _(under Health)_ - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Horses _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/466772710169953) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/metaphorsehealingcenter) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCy75waax/w/250/h/75/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793753417241) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCy75waax/w/2048/h/2048/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793753418144) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Fiord | #3e4265 | accent | | Raw Umber | #6c5a12 | dark | | Picton Blue | #62b0e5 | light | ## Fonts - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
