## Description

MeteoGate is a European platform for discovering and accessing meteorological data and information. It brings together data services from EUMETNET, whose members include national meteorological services from 33 countries. Through its Data Explorer, users can browse, preview and access meteorological datasets in one place, with a user guide covering discovery, access, architecture and key terms.

MeteoGate features APIs for several data areas. These include Open Radar Data, with information on downloading radar data and guidance for EUMETNET members who publish it; weather warnings, with instructions for getting started and downloading warning data; surface observations, with guidance on accessing, ingesting and downloading observations; and climate data. The site also provides documentation, a glossary, references, API key information and an API key portal. For assistance, users can consult service notices, join the discussion forum or contact the service desk. MeteoGate supports both access to European meteorological information and, for eligible EUMETNET members, the publication of selected data.
