## Description

Metgesses de Catalunya is a Catalonia-based initiative focused on women physicians and the issues affecting them in their professional lives. Its website brings together news, interviews, opinion pieces and articles through a feminist and equitable perspective, with the aim of enriching discussion of the medical community’s needs. The organisation highlights topics including gender discrimination, emotional wellbeing at work, women’s leadership, violence against women and equality in healthcare. It shares research and surveys, publishes practical resources such as guides for healthcare professionals, and reports on relevant policies, legal developments and public initiatives. Metgesses de Catalunya also organises events and debates, including gatherings that bring together women doctors from different generations, and provides an agenda for upcoming activities. Visitors can explore its news, opinion, articles and resources, learn about the organisation, and contact its team in Barcelona. The website also features a shop. Through information, advocacy and professional engagement, Metgesses de Catalunya seeks to make women’s experiences more visible and encourage a fairer, more inclusive medical environment.
