## Description

MetisDAO Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing equal opportunities in the Web3 space. The foundation aims to build a hub for the Web3 community, with a focus on education, startup creation, and econode funding. They offer mentorship, product testing, and pitch preparation for startups that have won Metis-sponsored or hosted hackathons, as well as marketing support for all econodes. The foundation also focuses on educating the global blockchain community and helping new entrepreneurs succeed.

In addition to supporting the collaborative workspace for Metis Community Builders, Commons, and EcoNodes, the foundation hosts annual flagship events such as MetisFest. EcoNodes, independent entities, are supported by a team of dedicated Decentralization Coordinators appointed by the current EcoNode members, ensuring smooth operations and coordination within the Foundation. EcoNodes such as Metis, Koris, Nuvo, P1X, and ZKM are part of the vibrant Metis ecosystem.
