## Description

Metro Stars is a football development organisation offering programmes for schools, clubs and junior players. Its activities include player training, coaches’ programmes, tournaments, talent showcases, competitive teams and soccer clinics. The organisation welcomes boys and girls of all ages and aims to make football accessible regardless of culture, income level or gender. It also supports the development of the game in lower-income areas and promotes girls’ and women’s football.

Metro Stars operates training programmes at schools and clubs, with more than 500 players in its community. Its programmes extend across the West Rand, East Rand and Southern Suburbs, with further activity being introduced in the Northern suburbs. The organisation also has a presence in Durban, Cape Town and neighbouring countries.

Players can attend one weekly session for a monthly fee of R650. Sibling and multi-session discounts are available, and the R300 registration fee includes an authentic Metro Stars training kit. Players supply their own apparel and footwear; balls and other required equipment are provided.
