## Description

Metsähaasi is a family-run homestead and craft workshop in North Karelia, Finland, established by German family members living in the region’s rural wilderness. Working from a small workshop, the family focuses on practical, traditional skills and shares its projects and learning through its website. Its work includes restoring old tools, making handcrafted leather goods, and weaving traditional textiles. These creations are shaped by hand, made with durability in mind, and guided by an appreciation for honest craftsmanship.

Visitors can explore the brand’s showcase of completed work and read workshop notes about its projects and experiences. Metsähaasi also offers a Craft Circle, inviting people to connect around its craft activities. The site introduces the family and its homestead life while providing a window into the making and restoration process. Rather than presenting a large-scale product range, Metsähaasi highlights carefully made goods and hands-on work rooted in traditional techniques, thoughtful reuse, and everyday life on a Finnish homestead.
