## Description

METU ROVER is a student project team that has operated within Middle East Technical University’s Mechanical Engineering and Innovation Society since October 2018. Bringing together students from different academic departments, the team focuses on rover-related projects and competitions, combining technical development with collaborative planning and organization. As of December 2021, it had 21 members working across five subteams: mechanical, software, electronics, science, and organization and finance. This structure supports the range of disciplines involved in the team’s work, from designing and developing rover systems to coordinating the activities needed to pursue its projects. METU ROVER also shares information about its team, rover competitions, sponsors, and participation opportunities through its website. Its pages feature team groups from several years, including 2019 through 2024, and provide information about the European Rover Challenge, including an ERC 2020 section. Guided by the motto “Improvise, Adapt, Rovercome,” METU ROVER presents itself as an interdisciplinary university team dedicated to advancing its rover projects through cooperation and innovation.
