## Description

The International Mountaineering Film Festival in Teplice nad Metují is a competitive showcase for films from around the world about mountaineering, climbing, outdoor sports, and adventure. Its program brings together film screenings, talks, interviews, workshops, competitions, and live music across seven festival venues, including a cinema, amphitheatre, farmstead, school, and park. Visitors can explore a selection of films and meet international guests, athletes, and filmmakers. The festival also recognizes outstanding work through awards for categories such as environmental filmmaking, mountain culture, outdoor sports, and climbing. Alongside the screenings and events, it offers practical visitor services, including ticket sales, festival passes, merchandise, luggage storage, and information for guests. The event is held in the Czech town of Teplice nad Metují, with nearby camping and accommodation options and access by train, bus, or car.
