## Description

The MHHC Foundation is a dedicated philanthropic organization that serves the health and educational needs of the Southwest Bronx community, one of America’s most challenged areas. Established as an extension of the Morris Heights Health Center, the Foundation addresses systemic social inequalities through innovative initiatives focused on health, education, and socioeconomic growth. Over the past 30 years, it has mobilized more than $50 million to enhance programs for over 57,000 patients and combat poverty in the region.

Key offerings include the MHHC Integrative and Wellness Center, a COVID-19 Relief Fund, and a need-based scholarship program that has awarded $326,000 to empower low-income, college-bound students from the Bronx. The Foundation’s efforts span healthcare, education, and youth development, ensuring that community members receive comprehensive support. Through collaboration and strategic investments, the MHHC Foundation continues to improve lives, advocate for equal opportunities, and foster well-being for those who need it most.
