## Description

Military History & Heritage Victoria (MHHV) is an inclusive organisation for people passionate about Australian military history and heritage. It works to encourage interest in this subject in all its forms, support research and preservation, promote education and commemoration, and foster cooperation across the military history and heritage community. MHHV also represents and advances the interests of its members.

The organisation connects audiences with Australia’s military past through public events, conferences, talks and online presentations. Its programme includes speaker sessions and events on subjects ranging from colonial conflicts and the Boer War to the First and Second World Wars, Korea and Vietnam, peacekeeping, Iraq and Afghanistan. MHHV also publishes news, historical articles and book reviews, and shares videos and conference papers. Its resources include material on heritage and commemoration, as well as a directory for the community. Events may take place in person or online, and the organisation provides a free newsletter for subscribers.
