## Description

Michaela Dewes offers online coaching for families navigating chronic illness and other challenges, with a particular focus on children and their siblings, sometimes called “shadow children.” A certified children’s, youth and family coach, resilience trainer, multimodal stress-management trainer and IPE Practitioner, Michaela draws on both professional training and her experience as a parent of two sons affected by chronic illness. Her goal is to help families build a happy, fulfilling life in which illness has a place but does not define everything, and each family member feels seen, valued and loved.

Coaching topics include siblings’ wellbeing, fears and worries, resilience, and parental self-care. Services include a free, approximately 30-minute introductory conversation, an SOS emergency session, individual coaching sessions and packages, as well as a three-month intensive program. All appointments take place online, with evening options available. The coaching is intended for psychologically healthy people and is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical care.
