## Description

The Michael Anoka Foundation (MAF) is a Nigerian nonprofit committed to transforming lives and building resilient communities across the country. Its work focuses on expanding opportunity, supporting vulnerable people, and helping individuals and communities become more self-sufficient. MAF promotes education for children in underserved areas through scholarships, school supplies, and learning opportunities. It supports women and young people with vocational and digital skills training, mentorship, and micro-grants, and its entrepreneurship initiatives provide training and funding to entrepreneurs. The foundation also conducts health education campaigns and medical outreaches, providing healthcare information and essential supplies to communities in need. Other areas of work include poverty alleviation, food and shelter support, child welfare and assistance for orphans, and access to safe, sustainable water in rural areas. Through rural development projects, the foundation aims to improve infrastructure, support agriculture, and encourage community growth. Its skills development programs equip participants with practical abilities to pursue better futures. MAF also offers ways to engage through its alumni network, mentors, partners, events, and MAFConnect.
