## Description

Michael J. Korber Fracchiolla is a contemporary fine artist whose work brings together expressive line, color, and movement. A New York native, Korber creates large oil paintings on raw linen and oversized ink drawings on paper. His distinctive approach, known as Pyrotechnic Iconographism, was officially named in Malta in 2001 by art historian Dame Françoise Tempra. The style combines dynamic visual energy with clearly defined forms, often exploring people, relationships, and the body.

Korber’s website presents his portfolio, artistic journey, biography, exhibitions, and personal stories, offering visitors several ways to explore his practice and career. His work has been exhibited on three continents and is held in multiple permanent collections. These include the Museo della Grafica in Naro, Sicily, where his art is displayed alongside works by artists from other countries and by masters such as Rembrandt and Goya. The site also highlights a museum retrospective examining works from different periods of his career and shares critical responses to his art.
