## Description

Michal Macků is a Czech artist whose practice brings photography into dialogue with glass, creating distinctive three-dimensional works. His art includes glass objects, glass gellages, photographic gellages and carbon prints, exploring the boundaries between image, material and illusion. The work is presented internationally through solo and group exhibitions, museum projects and major art and photography fairs.

Macků’s work has appeared at events including Photo London, AIPAD in New York, Miart in Milan and Arte Fiera Bologna, and has been shown in galleries and cultural institutions across Europe, Asia and the United States. His glass sculptures have also entered museum collections, including that of France’s MusVerre, which has presented his work in exhibitions focused on glass and the body. Recent projects include a solo presentation at JSP Gallery in Prague and participation in exhibitions at DOX Centre for Contemporary Art and the Museo de Arte en Vidrio de Alcorcón in Madrid.
