## Description

Michal Sawtyruk is a Warsaw-based digital painter and art director whose work spans illustration and production art. Since 2012, he has drawn inspiration from cinematography, distinctive places, and everyday visual discoveries. His professional collaborations include DreamWorks, Netflix Animation, BMW, Nexus Studios, The Line Animation, Avalanche, Axis Animation, The Mill, and Mooncolony, across animation, gaming, and commercial projects.

Through his digital painting course, Sawtyruk shares the knowledge and methods developed over his years of practice. The course focuses on color and light, helping artists make more deliberate and impactful choices in their work. Students explore lighting conditions and values as foundations for strong paintings, learn how color relationships and harmony can shape a mood, and consider how to create effects ranging from warm, sunny scenes to cool, mysterious nights. Practical lessons follow paintings from start to finish, demonstrating his step-by-step approach to building color and light. The site also provides access to a course library, contact options, and a free guide described as a four-step resource for taking control of personal finances.
