## Description

MicroPort Orthopedics is a global orthopedic medical device company focused on developing products and surgical approaches intended to improve patient outcomes and support healthcare providers. The company draws on a 50-year history of manufacturing orthopedic implants and reports distributing its products in 70 countries. Its portfolio covers hip and knee replacement, including primary and revision knee systems, acetabular systems, femoral stems, and resurfacing systems.

For hip replacement, MicroPort offers tissue-sparing surgical approaches such as Anterior Path® and SuperPath®, designed to help reduce hospital stays. Its knee portfolio includes the Evolution® medial-pivot system, which is designed to provide stability and support natural knee movement. The Evolution® NitrX™ version features a titanium niobium nitride coating. MicroPort also highlights personalized solutions, advanced technology, and robotics-related products.

The company provides resources for patients, including information about hip and knee replacement and surgeon-finding tools. For healthcare professionals, it offers surgical technique information, clinical results, surgeon experiences, and medical education and events. MicroPort notes that surgical risks, recovery times, and outcomes vary among patients.
