## Description

Microscape is a community-focused, tiny idle role-playing game designed for Twitch. Currently in open beta, it lets streamers add a shared game experience to their channels without replacing or interrupting their regular video content. Viewers can play in a separate tab and earn game time by watching streams, building a character that travels with them across participating Twitch channels.

Inspired by classic point-and-click massively multiplayer online games, Microscape offers a deliberately slow, repetitive style of play. Players can closely manage their character or choose a hands-off idle mode, while joining shared adventures, completing quests, leveling up, and competing on leaderboards. For streamers, these features are intended to strengthen community and encourage viewer retention. Drop Festivals also give channels a way to attract members of the existing Microscape playerbase.

Following its first alpha, the game is in open beta as its developers add and test remaining systems. General launch is expected in the second half of 2026. Microscape invites streamers to enroll and viewers to try the beta.
