Middle Earth NJ is a non-profit, community-based agency located in Somerset County, New Jersey. Established in 1972, our organization has been dedicated to providing a wide range of services to adolescents. While the name may bring to mind hobbits and rings, Middle Earth's mission is far from fantasy.

Our goal is to empower youth by offering prevention and intervention programs that help them become responsible, self-sufficient members of the community. Our free programs focus on instilling respect for oneself and others, encouraging community service, preparing for a bright future, and making positive choices. We serve over a thousand youth each year from across Somerset County.

In addition to our core programs, we offer employment and college readiness services, positive after-school programs for younger children, and youth centers for teens. We also provide support for first-time offenders in the juvenile justice system. Our team of compassionate staff members is dedicated to meeting the needs of young people who lack a strong support network or important resources.

At Middle Earth, we believe in offering a safe environment where children can find caring adults to listen, help with homework, and participate in fun group activities. By providing life skills education, crisis intervention, and youth advocacy, we aim to guide adolescents towards a healthy and successful future.
