## Description

Middling Industries is an independent creative brand and publisher centered on honest, unconventional stories and the “Haee and the Other Middlings” series, created by Vernice Chua, who writes as R.S. Vern. Its outlook celebrates imperfection, individuality, curiosity, and the unexpected journey rather than a perfect ending. Cats and their quirks are a recurring inspiration.

The brand publishes books and award-winning graphic novels for readers of all ages. Its graphic novels explore themes including love, freedom, identity, and belonging, while its literary novel, The Itch of the Middling Cat, considers loneliness, community, and the search for meaning in ordinary life. The website also features book reviews, big questions, and book trailers, helping readers discover and explore its titles.

Middling Industries offers original, affordable, high-quality editions through its online art store, alongside collectible items. Readers can follow the brand on social media for book and launch updates, and contact the team for general or press enquiries.
