## Description

Midlands Assessment Centre Ltd provides diagnostic assessments and support for people with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. Its qualified Dyslexia Assessors and Specialist Teachers offer services tailored to individual needs, with assessments available face to face or remotely. A diagnostic assessment can identify dyslexia and traits associated with additional specific learning difficulties, and results are presented in a detailed report outlining both areas of difficulty and strengths. The report may help inform future education and employment choices and provide evidence in support of arrangements such as extra time in examinations or other assistance.

The centre also specialises in assessments related to Disabled Students’ Allowance and workplace provision. Its staff bring 20 years of experience working with students with disabilities, including people with dyspraxia, Asperger’s, attention difficulties, hearing or visual impairment, and physical difficulties. Its broader expertise includes British Sign Language, Braille, note-taking, computer and software use, language modification, and mentoring. Midlands Assessment Centre Ltd is a member of PATOSS, and its assessors hold Associated Practising Certificates.
