## Description

Midwest Film Festival is the premier destination for showcasing independent cinema created by talented filmmakers from the Midwest region. As the nation's only film festival dedicated exclusively to Midwest filmmakers, we bring you a diverse selection of captivating and thought-provoking films throughout the year. Located in the vibrant creative hub of Chicago, our festival sits at the heart of the Midwest's filmmaking community. At Midwest Film Festival, we are committed to not only presenting exceptional films, but also to nurturing organic relationships between filmmakers, audiences, and industry professionals. We aim to build diverse audiences and offer educational resources that empower and inspire content creators. By supporting inclusion and cultivating a supportive environment, we strive to create a platform where Midwest filmmakers can thrive. Our festival is made possible through the generous support of the Illinois Arts Council, thanks to funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. We are grateful for their partnership in elevating and celebrating the Midwest's filmmaking talent. Join us at Midwest Film Festival and immerse yourself in the captivating world of Midwest independent cinema.
