## Description

The 501st Midwest Garrison is a prominent chapter of the globally recognized 501st Legion, an organization of dedicated Star Wars fans known for their outstanding costuming and community engagement. Established in celebration of the Special Edition release of *Return of the Jedi* in 1997, the Garrison has since become a vital presence in both the fandom and local community. Members don authentic Star Wars character costumes, such as Stormtroopers, creating memorable experiences at charity events, fundraisers, and social functions. While their services are provided at no charge, they advocate for donations to support various local charities, including Rock To Stop 22 and Second City Canine Rescue. The Garrison serves not only to entertain but also to give back, epitomizing the motto "Bad Guys Doing Good." Interested fans can join the ranks of Vader's Fist through detailed costume resources and membership information available on their website, further fostering a sense of camaraderie among Star Wars enthusiasts.
