## Description

Midwest Women Riders NFP is a women-only motorcycle community founded in 2008 by Ellie Rains. It welcomes women who ride motorcycles of all makes and models, as well as those who want encouragement and inspiration to learn to ride their own. The organization fosters connection and confidence among women riders through community activities and events.

Its signature gathering is Get Your Groove On, described as the Midwest’s largest women-only motorcycle event. The 2027 weekend is scheduled for June 10–12 and celebrates women who ride or aspire to do so. Activities are expected to include speakers and presenters, an escorted group ride, vendors, live entertainment, a Saturday night party, raffles, and opportunities for sisterhood and inspiration. Attendance requires a ticket, and the event is for women only.

Midwest Women Riders shares event information, photos, videos, and updates, and offers opportunities for vendors and sponsors to participate. The organization has also highlighted its involvement in the American Motorcycle Association’s 2025 National Gypsy Tour and its plans for a historic world-record female ride attempt.
