Migrateful is a brand that aims to support and empower refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in their journey to integration and access to employment. They achieve this through their cookery classes led by these individuals who are struggling to integrate and find employment. By providing a platform for them to share their incredible cooking skills, Migrateful helps them overcome legal, linguistic, and social barriers.

The idea for Migrateful was born during discussions with a group of refugee women who were highly qualified but unemployed due to language barriers and unrecognized qualifications. When asked about the skills they could share, many of them mentioned cooking. This inspired Jess to launch Migrateful in July 2017, with the goal of helping these women get into employment.

Migrateful has a substantial impact on the lives of migrants, offering them improved English language skills, increased confidence, a source of income, and opportunities to celebrate and share their culture. The brand provides a supportive environment where migrants can feel like part of a family, receiving respect, love, and care.
