## Description

Mike Revell is an author and creative writing educator best known for the Carnegie-nominated books Stonebird and Stormwalker. His work brings storytelling to life for young readers, while his resources and events encourage people of all ages to develop their own writing skills. Stonebird follows ten-year-old Liam as he adjusts to a new home and a family facing difficulties, then discovers a stone gargoyle that acts out his stories. Readers can explore Mike’s books and request three free chapters.

For writers, Mike created Feed Your Muse, a weekly newsletter sharing lessons about storytelling, life, and business drawn from creative minds. He also offers a free five-day email course, Blackbelt Storytelling, with tips and frameworks for writing novels, emails, and other engaging content. Mike gives talks and runs workshops for schools, festivals, and libraries, drawing on his journey from reluctant reader to award-winning author to inspire young people. Readers and aspiring creators can contact him with questions about his books, writing, or creative projects.
