## Description

Military Family Support is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has supported military families since 1992. It directs donations from individuals and organizations toward programs for service members, veterans, and their families, providing both direct assistance and funding to partner organizations. Its work includes four core areas: scholarships, career grants, Honor Flight guardian sponsorships, and JROTC and youth leadership.

The organization awards 15 scholarships annually, each ranging from $4,000 to $12,000 and designed to support students for four years. Eligible applicants include Florida students with military parents or grandparents ranked E-5 or above, as well as Florida JROTC students who have completed at least three years of high school participation. Career grants are available year-round to Florida veterans, military spouses, and veteran dependents, subject to restrictions.

Additional support helps fund emergency and holiday assistance, veteran services, service dogs, hospice care, and homelessness prevention programs. Military Family Support also recognizes JROTC students and works with local military bases and community partners. Its activities are supported by donations and community involvement.
