Mill Creek MetroParks is a public park system serving Mahoning County, Ohio, with more than 5,000 acres of diverse natural and recreational spaces. Established in 1891, it offers visitors a variety of places to explore, including Mill Creek Park, Yellow Creek Park, nature preserves, gardens, lakes, historic sites, and the MetroParks Farm. The MetroParks supports outdoor recreation and learning through activities such as hiking, biking, boating and fishing, archery, disc golf, equestrian activities, golf, and winter recreation. Visitors can also enjoy picnic areas, playgrounds, trails, wildlife viewing, and seasonal events. Educational offerings include programs, field trips, summer camp, and guided trolley and tractor-wagon tours.
