## Description

Millington Arbela District Library, located in Millington, MI, is an independent public library that serves the citizens of Millington and Arbela townships. Established in 1938 as the Millington Township Library, it later extended its services to include the residents of Arbela Township. Over the years, the library has undergone several relocations before settling into its current building on Depot Street in Millington. In 2003, the library was reorganized as the Millington Arbela District Library and obtained voter approval for a millage. The following year, it purchased the existing library building from Millington Township and undertook renovations to create an accessible front entrance. The library's commitment to accessibility and community engagement can be seen through its various policies, staff, and Board of Trustees. Offering a wide range of resources and services, Millington Arbela District Library is a hub for information, learning, and enrichment.
