## Description

MimiVax is a privately held, clinical-stage immunotherapy company based in Buffalo, New York. Founded by neuro-oncology clinicians, the company develops SurVaxM, an investigational vaccine designed to train the immune system to recognize survivin, a protein commonly expressed by cancer cells. Its research began with glioblastoma, where the company has conducted clinical studies, and its broader platform is being explored for other cancers and conditions.

In the Phase 2b SURVIVE trial, SurVaxM showed a survival benefit among glioblastoma patients aged 65 and under: median overall survival was 24.2 months, compared with 20.2 months for placebo. The company reports that the treatment was well tolerated. SURVIVE has completed enrollment, and no SurVaxM glioblastoma studies are currently enrolling. Other pipeline areas include multiple myeloma, neuroendocrine tumors, pediatric brain tumors, myasthenia gravis, and cancer prevention in high-risk smokers, at various development stages.

MimiVax shares scientific information, pipeline details, clinical resources, and expanded-access guidance for healthcare professionals, researchers, industry partners, and patients. SurVaxM is investigational and has not been approved by the FDA.
